Some Local Rules updates 09/02/23 Below

Because of the extensive tree cutting programme and condition of the course these rule changes are to be implemented with immediate effect:
1. If your ball lies in a bare, wet or sandy area (off the fairway) take a free DROP at the nearest point of relief (no nearer the hole). If after two drops the ball rolls outside of one club length or relief has not been taken (ie it’s still on a bare or wet patch) then the ball is to be placed where it struck the ground on the second drop.
2. If your ball is in a bare, wet or sandy area on the fairway please PLACE the ball at the nearest point of relief (no nearer the hole) within a scorecard area.
3. The 2nd hole, free DROP (as above) in the rough all the way down the left side from tee to green.
4. The 4th hole, free DROP (as above) in the rough in front of the boulders. (The area following a tee shot or lay up).
5. The 7th hole, free DROP (as above) in the rough on the right side from tee to green.
6. All areas in the rough where a pick and place rule was in force please now DROP (as above). Like the 5th and 15th.
7. PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR INTENTION TO DROP WITH YOUR PLAYING PARTNERS.
I am currently working on an update to hopefully simplify our rules and will post these ASAP.

CLARIFICATION:
No free drop by a tree stump. It was a tree a couple of weeks ago.
FREE DROP ONLY if a tree has been completely removed and it’s bare (could be roots or tree remains beneath).
