PLEASE NOTE -
1. If the roped areas have notice’s pinned to them, basically saying the area had been treated, please retrieve your ball and play from the nearest (NOT NICEST) point of relief.Please treat the roped areas as GUR UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
2. As per our local rule On the 4th hole if your ball is up against the boulders or the safety ropes at the end of the first stretch of fairway and these obstacles are interfering with your stance or swing, as long as you are NOT in the hazard you may take a free drop, usual rules, full relief and you may drop as far back as is safe in line with the flag stick.
3. The new posts and ropes are not moveable. If a ball is lying outside of the penalty area FREE relief may be taken if the posts/rope interfere with swing or stance (whether or not the posts/rope are in the penalty area or not.
4. If following a stroke your ball hits a post/rope unfortunately it’s just rub of the green and the stroke stands.
5. The club have decided to make the storm damage on the 17th hole (over the path between the 17th and 15th holes), With a free drop at the nearest point of relief no nearer the hole on the 17th side of the path.
They have been asked to mark it as GUR.
A reminder that storm damage anywhere on the course is a free drop at the nearest point of relief no nearer the hole.
6. The two blue staked drainage areas on the 3rd and 13th holes entitle free relief. They are poorly marked at the moment (we all know the area it should cover). The procedure is to DROP within one club length at the nearest point of relief NO nearer the hole.
Please note for safety reasons if the wall is in front of you where the nearest point of relief is you may go back FROM YOUR NEAREST POINT OF RELIEF as far as you want IN LINE WITH FLAG
